Now james is a pretty well-known person in the affiliate online marketing space, and this is his short course, which roughly goes about two and a half hours teaching you exactly what he does day by day as an affiliate marketer. What is Affiliate One
So if we quickly skim over through all the content, you can see that the course is broken up into many small sections and each section consists of a short video of about five to eight minutes. So it’s a very nice digestible course without having to sit through a long. You know half an hour one hour, video i’ve counted up.
The whole course probably takes about two and a half hours to get through and if you’re someone that likes to watch videos at two times speed, then you can totally come into the settings and playback speed at two times speed. And that means you can knock out the whole course within an hour and a half. The course starts off with a case study from James of how he made 1.1 million dollars in 2021, so i’m also a student of James as well. I came from one of his previous courses and this is the exact blueprint that James does step by step every day, which he lays it out here for you and it’s still something he’s still doing today and it probably will be doing for the next few years, Because it’s quite a profitable business, obviously i’m not at a million dollars yet, but it’s good to have that aspiration to see that this model works – and this is nice evidence that this business model has the potential to reach that number.

I bought some green screen just to make this damn video you can see. This is like my second video that i’ve ever made. Actually, this is the blueprint on how to do affiliate marketing properly now.
Traditional Business Models
Obviously, affiliate marketing is one of those tried and true business models. If you’re looking for a side, hustle you’re, either choosing between you know, youtubing e-commerce, maybe drop shipping, maybe e-books and affiliate marketing is one of the options out there on how to make money online now, for i know what you’re thinking, because the word affiliate marketing just Has like a nasty tone to it when i first heard it i’m like it’s affiliate, it’s such a weird word and it’s marketing, which is also such a turn off word as well. It’S one of those things that not many people want to do initially. They want to do something much more sexier and exciting. We all want to do those things that, like we created like, let’s say, for example, i’ve dabbled into amazon, fba right, you got to create your own product and yeah This is my product, my own creation, or let’s say you want to go into drop shipping and say: oh yeah. This is my e-commerce store. Where i sell all the things that i want to sell, or let’s say some people run, it write books, oh yeah. This is the book. This is the story that i want to tell, or some of you want to do blogs or something you want to do youtube and so there’s definitely a sense of pride in our own creations.
Hence why we want to do something like that. Affiliate marketing is like the opposite of that you’re selling other people’s products, and what this model does is that you’re emailing people every day telling them all the cool pieces of software? That’S out there, let’s say, for example, we email people about hey. Have you seen this cool ai tool? This ai tool allows you to like create blogs or wow Have you seen this website generator? This can create you a whole website in minutes wow. Have you seen this tool that has like free royalty music? Have you seen this tool that has an AI text-to-speech, and so that’s, essentially, what this system is right? It’s a system where you keep finding cool pieces of software or courses or tools out there and you’re emailing out to a bunch of people, and hopefully some of them are interested in buying it and if they do buy it, you get a nice percentage commission of 30 to 50, so if something costs 20 bucks, then you get 10 bucks. They say affiliate. Marketing is one of the most easiest models out there, and this is what i’ve learned over the years of having dabbled into all these different models. Let’S say, for example, amazon, FBA or if you want to write your own book or if you want to make your own app or if you want to make your own product right product creation takes time. It’s going to take you like three months six months to a year, maybe to even make that product before you can start selling it, and you know time is of the essence here in my amazon store.
I have a product that took me six months to launch so that six months of your time to get it up and running, i’m also getting a mobile app created right now. It’S been three months of development and that’s three months of commissioning a programmer and producing your own product. Not only costs you time, but it also costs you a huge upfront capital as well. Now what happens when you finally have a product? You need to start making a marketing website or a web page, because you have to promote this online right.
You have to make that web page. You have to get a video for that web page. You have to write about it. You got to get screenshots or images or product photography. You got ta hire photographers.
You basically have to create all the assets in order to make images that look nice for your website and learn how to make a website that takes time now what happens after you have your web page ready? You have to do paid advertising most of the time you have to pay. You don’t want to wait like six months to a year for it to build traction. You want things to happen now. Inevitably, you are paying for advertising in most of the things that you are doing in amazon, it’s ppc in shopify or drop shipping.
It’s facebook ads, tick tock ads, instagram ads, youtube ads.
You’re, paying something otherwise organically. No one will ever find you. Even if you write a book you have to have ads. If you have a blog, you have google ads. So this is the inevitable step that you have to do now.
What happens after you build some traction right and you’re selling this product? You need more products to sell so back to amazon. You got this one product now you need a whole range of products to to create a brand. What is a brand is a multiple of products that represents what the brand stands for right. It’s shopify: you need to get more products to sell books.
You’re not just gonna Have one book. That’s gonna be like your million dollar book. You need several books, youtube videos. You need to make several youtube videos, websites and blogs.
You need to make more websites and blogs and ultimately the final end. Game of every business model is repeat: customers you want customers, not just buy from you once, but return to you and buy from them and how the hell do we do that? We do that through email marketing right, if you have a shopify store, you email them and say hey check out of these new products we have in line if you’re on amazon business right, you try to capture their emails so that when you launch a new product, You say: hey, remember us! You bought this from us before check out our new product that we have just launched. If you have a book right, you would email to your subscribers and say hey check out my next book.
If you’re working on a software – and you have any software updates, you have to email, your people say: hey version 1.3, there’s a new update check it out, keep subscribing to our tool. So, inevitably, in every business, the email, marketing emailing your subscribers is the inevitable step of all business models, long story short, whatever upside hustle, you want to start doing in the future. Email marketing is coming your way, whether you like it or not. So this is the traditional form of if you create your own business with your product, you have to go through these five steps.
Affiliate Marketing
If you are willing to give up the idea that you have to own your product, you can skip the entire product creation process. Don’T forget this takes six months. I mean to get your business up and running in three to six months. It takes a while to build this stuff right and then what happens? Is you can’t just have one product?
You need multiple products and what happens is two or three years four years has passed, and now you got several products in your product range right and so eventually, you sort of learned that all right, let’s sort of just leverage other people’s products, because at the end Of the day, you’re a cool product creator, but other people are also cool product creators as well, and what is a business? A business is selling cool products. You’Ve made a cool product, other people have cool products as well. What is business, selling cool products? It doesn’t matter if you made it or other people made it as long as it’s a cool product.
So from a business strategic point of view, think about it. You took six months to make a product and start selling, and then you made a thousand bucks six months later and then someone else who’s selling other cool products and they made a thousand bucks. The only difference is you took six months to make that thousand bucks and the other person made a thousand bucks six months ago now the next next most annoying thing is marketing web pages. That takes some time to make right you have to like do this. You have to make a page for your product.
You have to get the photography of all your products. You have to get a video of all your products create the marketing assets for it, and that takes time as well in affiliate marketing when you’re promoting other people’s products. You skip this part, and so you don’t have to make a marketing web page because they already have a marketing web page and all you’re doing is promoting their web page and that skips that process. So the reason why they say affiliate marketing is one of the easiest models out there easy as mean you skip two steps: the product creation process. That’S going to take you three to six months and you skip the marketing page.
Now, don’t forget, you have more product range, but every time you have another product, you need to create more photos and more videos, and then you have a third product. Your third product also needs more photos and more videos and the more products you promote. The cycle repeats itself: you need more marketing pages, whereas affiliate marketing skip the whole branding process, the logo, the graphic design, the web design, the videos, the images, the copywriting everything and so basically you’ve got a whole range of products ready to go. They all have marketing web pages ready to go. Everything is done for you, which leads you to the final two things that you just need to do paid advertising, which is inevitable in any business model anyway.
But what it actually is that you are paying to acquire subscribers and what happens is you’re sort of like running some ads so that people join your mailing list every day, someone’s joining your mailing list. Every week you get about 100 to 200 people joining your mailing list. Five weeks later, you have maybe 500 people on your mailing list. 10 weeks later you have a thousand people in your mailing list and once you have subscribers, you can email them every day about products and offers. I mean, if you think, about your email.
You probably have some emails every day, because emailing is just part of every business check, your email you’re getting daily emails from somebody somewhere, and so the general concept of email marketing goes for every 100 people. Maybe a little under 1 of people will buy something. What does that mean? That means you have 100 subscribers, you email them. 99 of them are gon na snub you and say yeah.
I don’t care, but one percent of them would go. Oh this looks interesting and we’ll probably buy it right now. That’S 100 subscribers and keep in mind every week, you’re getting about 100 to 200 subscribers and so fast forward week. Five you’re doing this. You now have 500 ish 600 people right and you email 600 people 99 of them would snub you and go yeah whatever, but one percent of 600 is about six people.
Six people out of the 600 would go oh yeah. This looks interesting and have a look at your product and potentially buy it right, and so that’s six people that bought something and the longer you do it you get one thousand ten thousand. I think james has like fifty thousand people in his list now. Fifty thousand, that means one percent of people, 500 people are potentially buying and when you get hundreds of people buying stuff every day, hence why you can get to the million dollar range. That’S the sort of the benchmark right, but what it does take you know.
Affiliate One System
James has been in this game for many years already right, and so his email list has racked up over time. So now he has this really solid system, and if you decide to take on this model, you will start off by having a small list. Every week, 100 200 people 200 people there’s like 190 people will snob you, but then there’s like the two people that are like oh yeah. This is pretty cool and they buy something and you’re like yay and so over time. If you keep staying on the path, eventually, you got, a thousand people eventually got 5 000 people.
What’S 5 000 people, 5 000 people was probably like six months later, and so imagine yourself, six months later, you have a five thousand people on your list. You email them regularly every day right, little under one percent will buy so 5 000 is about 50 people that will probably buy something. Some of them buy the cheap offer. Some of them buy the expensive offer. So it’s a bit dynamic in what you get, but that is the concept.
The concept is you email every day a small small fraction of people would buy something. Majority 99 of people would snap you, but that’s: okay, it’s the small fraction that will buy something and over time that small fraction, as your list gets bigger, your fraction becomes bigger and bigger, and at the end of the day, this is what we call email marketing You’Re writing emails, which is probably one of the most easiest things amongst all things that you can do to run a business typing and writing some emails. You don’t have to like deal with logistics and shipping and customer service and deal with customers, because it’s not your product right. You don’t have to deal with returns. You have to have to do updates to your product.
You don’t have inventory, you don’t have production costs, the only hard part is getting into the habit of emailing daily, which at first you’ll probably find it super annoying to do, but like they say, if you do anything long enough, you sort of grow into the habit And if you do that long enough, one day you will wake up, and now you will have a full-time income. Writing emails half an hour each day, and that is the end game of being an affiliate marketer. And if you join James’s mastermind, he shows you proof of that. He shows you that every month he’s making 20k to 50k per month and that’s pretty cool long story short coming back to the whole course. What it is about is um James teaches you how to find really cool products to promote.
He teaches you how to write, really good emails and not just write emails, but he has these email. Swipes template of 200 300 emails that you can literally copy and paste and use for your emails. That’S how we all started when we start doing this. We just copy and paste what James does right and that will get. You started for a good while, until you decide to write your own emails, you’ll learn how to get traffic right, and so there’s this really special place that you get to get traffic, which means you get people to come visit your web page.
Now there is a place where you have to build your own web page, and it’s pretty simple James gives you this web template you just sort of plug it in to, and you have your own web page right. So you don’t have to build anything. I mean James teaches you how to build it. Ultimately, you want to know how to build it, but then, at the end of it it just gives you the template, and then you just use that exact template which he uses and it’s got a really good conversion rate. It’S got 50 conversion rate, meaning if 200 people visit this page 100 of them are willing to give you their emails.
It’S actually really cool. It’S a very cool little simple web page, but the conversion rates are really good. So it’s kind of good to know. Why would people like give their emails out and eventually, once you have a page where you can get people’s emails now you just need to drive traffic to it. How do you get people to visit your page and so uses this really cool website called udemy and then get really cool people coming in to visit your web page 2 200 people visit 100 people would be willing to give you your emails once they subscribe to Your mailing list, now you can start emailing them by using some of James swipes that he has prepared for you, you copy and paste it into it and then promote one of these cool offers that is available online.
The concept is every day you are sending out emails and potentially making sales through each email that you send. This whole course is about two and a half hours long, and once you go through it, you now know how affiliate marketing business model works.

You need to know how to email and in the beginning you don’t know how to email, but that’s, okay. It’S one of those essential skill sets, but in the beginning chances are, you won’t be using google ads. Yet, and so, if need be this one, i would say it’s not too important until a bit later on.
